WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?
The RAK Axe Throwing Hours are:
Tue-Thu 3-10pm, Fri 3-12 am, Sat 11-12 am, Sun 11-8 pm.
Reservations are the only way to guarantee your axe throwing lane.
We can open for larger groups during the off hours with advanced notice and paid reservations. Just call us.
***Closed toe shoes are required.***
WHAT IS THE COST?
The cost for axe throwing is $20 for 1 hour per person. You pay when you book online.
SHOULD I MAKE RESERVATIONS?
Yes. It’s typical for us to be booked on the weekends. Although walk-ins are welcomed, we highly recommend making reservations. Reservations are the only way to guarantee your axe throwing experience.
HOW DOES INDOOR AXE THROWING WORK?
Axe throwing is similar to dart throwing and a bowling alley. You will be throwing an axe at a target in your reserved lane. So wrap both hands around the axe handle, lift over your head and aim for that bull’s eye!
WILL SOMEONE HELP ME THROW AN AXE?
Yes, there will be a brief orientation at the beginning of your event where you will be shown the proper way to throw the axe.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THROW AXES?
Closed toe shoes are required. We also recommend wearing loose fitting clothing so you can properly throw an axe.
IS AXE THROWING SAFE?
It is completely safe and we are very strict in making sure that everyone is throwing the axes in a safe manner. You will need to sign a waiver before throwing an axe. You will be briefed on the axe throwing safety protocols when you arrive. You are required to wear closed toe shoes to throw axes with us.
CAN I BRING MY OWN AXE?
Yes you may bring your own axe. As long as it is in good condition and is WATL compliant.
IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT?
We do not have an age limit, but there is a strength restriction. If we feel that a person is not strong enough to throw the axe in a safe manner, then we will not let them throw
CAN I TAKE PICTURES OR VIDEO?
Yes you can most certainly take pictures and videos and in fact we encourage it!
WHAT IF I AM LATE? WHAT IF PART OF MY GROUP IS LATE?
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND arriving 15 minutes early to your scheduled reservation. If you arrive late, you will have less time to throw axes.
